Friday Night's Homecoming

I discovered that I missed that classic Friday night High School Football game a little bit. I so often took them for granted in the past. Having the chance again last Friday, I was able to appreciate a game in a small town on Maryland's eastern-shore. The energy on the sidelines & in the stands, the optimistic vigor of the kids & parents, and the late golden glow as dark took over a cool early-fall afternoon. It's a nice taste of our Americana.
